• Account information: name, photo, email address, phone number, date of birth, and location (province or city).
• Telegram information: Telegram username and verified Telegram account status.
• Profile information: skills, work history, bio, portfolio links, and profile photo.
• Quest data: quests you post, apply to, or complete — including task descriptions, location, photos, and screening responses.
• Payment confirmation data: screenshots or records you submit to confirm payment received or sent.
• Business verification documents: patent tax certificates, business licenses, and business address (for business accounts only).
• Communications: messages sent through the Platform, dispute evidence, and support requests.

We also collect information automatically, including:

• Device information: browser type, operating system, device identifiers.
• Usage data: pages visited, features used, quest views, and actions taken on the Platform.
• Location data: approximate location inferred from IP address, and precise location if you grant permission for map-based features.
• Cookies and similar technologies used to maintain session state and improve Platform performance.

2. How we use your information

We use your information to:

• Create and manage your account;
• Verify your identity and prevent fraud, duplicate accounts, and abuse;
• Display your profile, skill tags, ratings, rank, and XP to other Platform users;
• Facilitate quest creation, applications, assignments, payment confirmation, and dispute resolution;
• Calculate your Ranking Rating and rank progression based on completed quest history;
• Send Platform notifications including quest updates, application status, payment reminders, and ranking changes;
• Support agent compensation tracking and payout eligibility review;
• Monitor for fraudulent activity, repeat-pair abuse, and policy violations;
• Improve Platform features, performance, and user experience.

3. Telegram integration

Quester Circle integrates with Telegram to verify accounts, send notifications, facilitate screening questions, and support creator-quester communication. When you connect your Telegram account, we receive and store your Telegram username and verification status.

Communications between users through the Telegram bot may be logged for fraud prevention, dispute evidence, and platform safety purposes. We do not access private Telegram conversations outside the Platform bot interaction.

4. Information sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share your information only in the following circumstances:

• With other Platform users: your public profile (name, photo, skills, rank, rating, completed quest count) is visible to Creators when you apply for quests.
• With service providers: trusted vendors who help us operate the Platform (hosting, analytics, payment verification tools), under confidentiality obligations.
• For legal compliance: when required by applicable law, court order, or governmental authority in Cambodia.
• To protect rights and safety: when necessary to investigate or prevent fraud, abuse, or illegal activity on the Platform.
• Business transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or part of our business, with appropriate notice to you.

5. Data retention

We retain your account information and activity history for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Platform services. If you request account deletion, we will delete or anonymize your personal data within a reasonable period, except where retention is required by law or legitimate business need (such as fraud prevention or dispute records).

Quest history, ratings, and review records may be retained in anonymized form for Platform integrity and trust purposes.

6. Security

We implement technical and organizational measures to protect your information against unauthorized access, disclosure, or destruction. These include encrypted data transmission, access controls, and regular security reviews.

No system is completely secure. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential and for reporting unauthorized access to your account promptly.

7. Your rights

You may:

• Access and update your profile information through your account settings;
• Request a copy of the personal information we hold about you;
• Request correction of inaccurate information;
• Request deletion of your account and associated personal data, subject to our retention obligations;
• Opt out of non-essential marketing communications.

8. Cookies

We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to maintain your session, remember preferences, and analyze Platform usage. You can configure your browser to refuse cookies, but some Platform features may not function properly without them.

This Privacy Policy does not apply to those third-party services, and we are not responsible for their privacy practices. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party service you use.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by updating the effective date above and, where appropriate, by notifying you through the Platform or via Telegram. Continued use of the Platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
